feel so guilty for nt being able to train this whole wk..forgot when was the last time i didnt train for one whole week, not even on sat..omg what a week.

9:00 am - was slightly reluctant to wake up, but it was race day, so was a little excited and nervous. brushed up, chewed on a muesli bar as usual..left house at around 11.
11+ - reach upper shed, aloy was sitting there. waited for victor and shaun to arrive, then victor suddenly call and say he's on his way home coz he feel dam sick. could hear that he was walking, but he said he told coach alr, so i just 'what the..' and hang the call.
As i was about to tell aloy about that, victor and shaun came up from the slope. right.
12+ - getting ready, went to warm up and row abit. gt briefed by coach and met our competitor frm gess, syafiq and yu chen. friendly people, lucky we were not laned with one another.
12.38 - 10 minutes to race time
nervosity was hitting me, tried to control it.
went down to row until mr ng frm RP came to told us to register and take our number cards. we didnt know how to, and it was pretty rushed so slightly chaotic, but managed to get the number cards in time and rowed to the starting point.
saw aloy n shaun start, behind one was chasing. victor shouted to them, didnt know if they heard.
Then, it was our turn. getting into our lane was already abit panicky coz the person called for us.
The command was called, i was again nervous, but i knew i cant afford to let my heart rate go up now. Managed to calm my heart rate down b4 pulling hard when the air horn sounded.
The 1km race was on. rowed until right palm cramp. we're in lane 6, could see frm the corner of my eye that the boat in lane 4 was constantly in front of us, not far away. couldn't care more..just gave in our best.
End on Race 41, it started to drizzle. it didn't help knowing that there was one boat behind us.

500m race day. reached Macritchie at around 9.30 for warm up rowing. missed doraemon coz of it, dang. did couple sets of starts then came up to rest n register.
the race was..a little unfair coz our sch was put with all the JC/poly levels. what to do, anw during the 500m, i could hear lane 4 boat shouting a lot, lol.
when we reached the finishing point, i smacked the paddle (idk for what lol) and saw there were 2 boats in front, and one capsized boat at the finishing point. which means we were 3rd place, so had to weigh the boat with the help of syafiq to go to semi-finals.
so we waited there during the break, before i said i wanted to go buy food. so while walking down to the cafeteria we went to check the scoreboard or whatever that is. found out that we were actually 4th, 2s behind the 3rd boat. It meant that we can go home already. so yea, went home after that..knowing that i've gave in my best. even my back.
