we 虽败犹荣 ba,took 2nd place coz of some...little tricks by others la.2nd place is just the first runner-up,not the champion.The 'B' Division-upper sec boat-took first place in the heats with timing of 1.20 lidat,while the 'C' Division lower sec get 2nd place in their heat,so both boats went into grand finals!which was vry gd compared to last yr where 'C' Div onli go the losers' finals.stomach was empty alr aft the first race,bt cnt eat anyting...so juz drank gatorade and ate some energy gel frm dunros,tasted wierd den in de end my stomach gt wierd feeling like dunno hungry or full lidat.
so anw in the final race,our boats were side by side in lane 1 and 2,then lane 0 dunno wad sch,lane 3 was jurong,4 is yuan ching,lane 5 tink pasir ris...den lane 4 boat cnt get in lane properly...wasted alot of time and last warning was given to them to get in line,den aft some time de starter dunwan waste time so juz start de race when everybody in line.finished 2nd with a difference of abt 3s frm yuan ching,bt we lost with pride...
then prize presentation,saw few familiar faces like some guy frm Victoria sch which was frm Pei Chun de...jurong's girls team de capt tok alot like wad 2 of the rowers were new and some were sick so they only have 9 pairs of rowers...blah blah...then we told each other that 'our fren train until arm break' haha.waited dam long coz we were the last race,then cosmo made lik wee take de medals lol n grp photo...den go back sch eat de noodle ordered for us.lol
